Privacy policy (summary)

This is an informal English summary. The legally binding version is the German Datenschutzerklärung, compliant with GDPR, DSG (Austrian Data Protection Act) and ePrivacy Directive.

Who we are

Callejear.at is operated as a private project. The responsible party and contact details are in the Imprint.

What we collect

• Server logs — IP address (truncated after 24h), user agent, request path. Retention 14 days for security. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
• Cookies — a single cookie_consent cookie recording your consent choice (365 days). No analytics cookies unless you explicitly accept.
• AdSense — loaded only after explicit consent via the cookie banner. Google may set advertising cookies then. Before consent, no AdSense is loaded.

What we do NOT collect

• No accounts, no login, no passwords.
• No location tracking.
• No personal information from visitors — the site is pure read-only.

Third parties

• Hosting: Hetzner Online GmbH (Falkenstein, Germany) — EU-based.
• CDN: Cloudflare, Inc. (US) — Standard Contractual Clauses apply.
• Map tiles: OpenStreetMap Foundation (UK).
• Google AdSense: Google Ireland Ltd. — only after consent.
