Yoel Castaño Peón is the founder and sole editor of Callejear.at. He has been building the Callejear system on top of European open urban data since 2021.
Callejear.com (1.1 million pages) has been in production since 2023, followed by Callejear.nl, .fr, .be, .pt, .de, .dk, and Callejear.at in 2026.
Focus: large-scale data pipelines, readable narratives around urban data, and editorial independence in a sector where most analyses are funded by real-estate agencies.
